She’s a natural empath, using her abilities to connect with the Guardians of the Galaxy and manage their off-the-wall personalities as the team counselor. When Jax is riled up, Mantis can use her powers to immediately calm him down. But beyond that, she is a skilled fighter with powerful psychic abilities, including telepathy. She can even astral project herself, separating her spiritual body from her physical one.
